Stuck! And time to vent!

Ah ....all the lush pillows and fresh sheets, a computer, TV playing in the background with Reality TV showing, window open to let in the fresh air, a half empty cup of coffee beside the stock of medication and injections I need for the next few days. I am stuck in bed once again. I am having problems with the nerves in my neck.Which has been the trouble in my back causing the spasms.   I think it goes deeper than that and it is linked to my MS!
All of this is great even have my son and his fiance bringing me anything and everything while I am in a neck lock (collar). I can't move my neck! I feel as if I am slowly being strangled and can't breath.  All while my hubby and other son is out fishing. I wish I was there as they are catching some big fish. If I can't go fishing at least let me see my horses... but no I must spend the next few days in bed. I have been in bed since last year. going out only a few times.

Today's visit to the horses

I finally got myself out of bed. I have been having horrible back spasms... that doesn't have anything to do with today's visit to see my babies other than the bumps and holding the camera almost had me in tears.

The weather was hazy and not too cold. On my way I got new batteries as my camera seems to eat them! I know I should get some rechargeable ones.... next shopping trip!

I had a great time watching my horses and their antics in the corral. I was even able to get some good shots today. Here they are...

Faces around the stables

These are some of the faces you can see around the stables.

Wishes do come true

Growing up in the USA and visiting my relatives in OK I got to spend a lot of time around horses. I would love to ride out on my uncle's ranch. The feeling of freedom was amazing. My wishes to own a horse began then and did not come true until recently (actually a few years now). Now that I have horses I am bedridden and wishing to be able to go and see my horses. I am experiencing back spasms and it hurts like the dickens! (This isn't about my aches and pains)
Hasnaa's due date is getting closer with each passing day. She is due on  January 31, 2011.  I know there is that window of two weeks before and two weeks after but I still would like to be about to spend more time with her as her time gets closer.
This foal is the first of my stud farm's production and for me it is a very important part of history of the Arabian horse. Above is a picture of Zikery. He is the foal's father. Below is a picture of Hasnaa and Gamilla.

LATEST PHOTO SHOOT

Yesterday I spent a little time trying to get some nice shots of my horses before I was called and reminded of an appointment!
I will share these photos but if you look at them please pass this on to someone else who you think would like to see some pictures of horses! Thanks!
This is Nour El Ein.

Nour's color is starting to really change. I am sure she will be a really beauty!

Sorry this one isn't so clear but you can see her lovely movement! In time she will be one of my breeding mares. (Not unless someone offers me a good price for her)

This is Amesel! She is a real beauty!

I just missed a great shot.... oh well I never said I was any good at taking pictures....
you let me know which ones you like!

She is a lovely ride and a joy to just watch her as she trots around the corral.

You can almost read the donkey's mind... I wish to grow up to look like her!

I have to get her a show halter!

Names with the faces

I guess some of you are interested in knowing more about my horses. I had two others, one colt named Misk and one filly named Summer that I sold to be able to upgrade my breeding mares.

In the pictures I posted yesterday you can see Hasnaa. Her dam is Kamar Al Shams and her sire is Hamdan. She was born on Feb. 12, 2007. She is in foal and is due on Jan. 31, 2011. The father of her foal is Zikery. He is no longer here in Egypt. My mare is the only one from Egypt he covered. Last year Hasnaa won 8th place in the national championship.
In the second picture you can see Rameh El Yasser. His dam is Hawagis El Moussa and his sire is Gamil El Gabry. He was born on July 18, 2008. This year he placed 6th in the National and the International championship. I am using him as my main stallion.
Silly me I forgot which horse is next so if I get this part wrong please forgive me...lol...if you need to blame me; blame it on me being blond or blame it on my MS but the truth is I was distracted by a TV show on how mattresses are made!

I think Hamama is next (she is the dark one with white mane and tail) She was born on Oct. 7, 2007. She is the first to be covered by Rameh.
Next is Gamilla (  the bay). Her dam is Lekaa and her sire is Hareedy Albadeia. She was born on March 8, 2007. She is due in April. The father of the foal is Nadeem Albadeia.
The little gray filly is Nour El Ein. Her dam is Set El Hosn and her sire is Hareedy Albadeia. She is half sister to Gamilla. She was born on Feb 28, 2009.
Last but not least is Amesel. I have had her only a few months. She is from EAO (Zahraa). Her pedigree is in Arabic and I can't read it. Anyway she was born on Feb. 2, 2004. She is in foal. The father of the foal is Emad El Din. Amesel is a great ride.

Note: I looked at the preview....I need to add some pictures...
